When your child dances with Motif, the benefits go above and beyond what could be accomplished during regular class time. Children at each level will learn about the nuances of performance and choreography and will have successfully choreographed and performed their own unique dance by the end of the year. With Motif, each child is guaranteed four performances including a Spring Gala. Motif performs throughout the golden triangle area for places such as nursing homes and The Boys and Girls Club. Additionally, all lead recital roles are chosen from our company members, allowing your child the opportunity to be considered for soloist roles.

Level 2: Encore - Ages 9-11

At our “Encore” level, students will develop a moderate understanding of how to choreograph and will greatly improve movement skills. Students will be required to take a ballet technique class in addition to company, attend all four (4) performances, and miss no more than four (4) company rehearsals. A performance leotard, skirt, and company sweats will also be required.

Rehearsals: Thursdays 5:00-6:30 pm. Performance dates TBA.

Level 3: Brava - Ages 12+

At our “Brava” level, students will develop and in-depth understanding of dance and how to choreograph. Brava students may also be selected to perform solos. Students will be required to take a ballet technique class in addition to company, attend all four performances, and miss no more than four company rehearsals. A performance leotard, skirt, and company sweats will also be required.

Rehearsals: Mondays and Thursdays 4:30-6:00 pm. Performance dates TBA.
